Softscapes generally refer to flower beds, plants and grass work. A softscape install can be a whole new set of beds around a house, or it can be one tired corner of a garden torn out and replanted. Most of ours start the same way: we walk the property with the owner, work out what the space is being asked to do, and design from there.

What a softscape install can include

  • Plant installs
  • Bed creation
  • Edging types
  • Mulching
  • Dry creek beds
  • Grass seed or sod
  • Demo of old plants

Redesigning the shape of a flower bed changes a front elevation more than most people expect. Curving a bed line, pulling it away from the foundation and layering the planting from front to back is often the whole job, and it is the part that makes a house look finished from the street.

Every house has a unique space

We approach each job communicating with the client to figure out what each project will entail. Every house and business has a unique space. Personalizing, enhancing and creating functional areas is our specialty, and often that requires a design to bring out the potential of a space.
